Aldershot Divisional Cup Finals 2023/24 News Release
The Aldershot Divisional Football Association are grateful to Aldershot Town FC for staging our five Cup Finals for the 2023/24 season. We are appreciative of the long-standing relationship we have with the club.
Our five cup finals are as follows:
Tuesday 7 May 2024
SATURDAY SENIOR CUP FINAL
Westfield v Badshot Lea
Kick Off: 19:45
Entrance (Via Ordnance Road- Side Gate): Adult £8, concessions (65+) £5, Under 16 FOC
This is a repeat of the 2022/23 Final when Badshot Lea were 2-0 victors to win the cup for the first time since 2010/11. They beat Hartley Wintney on Tuesday evening 2-1 in the semi-final. Westfield finished fifth in the Pitching-In Isthmian League South Central Division earning a play-off place whilst Badshot Lea completed their first season in the division in 11th position.

SATURDAY JUNIOR CUP FINAL
Woking Vets v Farnborough North End Athletic
Kick Off: 10:30
Entrance (Via Ordnance Road- Side Gate): Adult £5, concessions (65+) £3, Under 16 FOC
Woking Vets are the current holders of the competition having defeated AFC Farnham Vets in last season’s final. They reached this season’s final beating Camberley United in the semi-final. Farnborough have reached the final for the first time having beaten Wey Valley in the semi-final.
SATURDAY INTERMEDIATE CUP FINAL (Mark Coombs Trophy)
Liphook United v Hartley Wintney Development
Kick Off: 15:00
Entrance (Via Ordnance Road- Side Gate): Adult £5, concessions (65+) £3, Under 16 FOC
This is also a repeat of the 2022/23 final when Hartley Wintney overcame Liphook 3-0. Hartley reached the final after a penalty shoot-out victory versus Liss Athletic after a 3-3 draw. Liphook overcame Bordon United at the semi-final stage. Mark Coombs was a local footballer whose life was tragically cut short after an asthma attack. His Mother, Yvonne (pictured), will be our welcome guest on the day to present the Trophy and medals.

SATURDAY JUNIOR INVITATION (Eric Holbrook) CUP
Woking Vets v Camberley Magpies
Kick Off 10:30
Entrance (Via Ordnance Road- Side Gate): Adult £5, concessions (65+) £3, Under 16 FOC
The trophy will have a new name engraved this season with two new finalists. Woking Vets defeated last season’s champions Aldershot Supporters Trust in the semi-final whilst Rackstraws were defeated by Camberley Magpies at the same stage.
SUNDAY SENIOR INVITATION CUP
Seale v Shire United
Kick OFF: 15:00
Entrance (Via Ordnance Road- Side Gate): Adult £5, concessions (65+) £3, Under 16 FOC
Seale have reached the final for the first time after reaching the semi-final stage last season. Shire United have reached the final after eliminating last season’s winners Yateley United in the last four.
For all supporters attending please note:
- For all matches there will be a refreshment van available at the stadium alongside access for the general public to the EBB Lounge Bar.
- Please note for all Cup Finals the only personnel who will be permitted entry to the ground via vehicle will be players, staff and those named in advance from the respective clubs committee. There will be no additional parking available in the stadium and all spectators/supporters will be able to park in town centre car parks.
