Liphook hat-trick sinks Hartley Dev

Hat-trick hero Billy Allcock’s goals led Liphook United to a superb 4-1 victory over Hartley Wintney Development in the ADFA Saturday Junior Challenge Cup. Despite starting well and scoring first, Hartley’s control of the early stages of the first half was not to last as Liphook equalised, and then gradually took over the game. Whilst there were chances at both ends, it was Liphook that capitalised and ran out worthy winners. Player of the match was awarded to Liphook’s Billy Allcock, presented by ADFA Treasurer John Marchment. The Mark Coombs Trophy was presented to Liphook’s captain by our guest of honour Mrs Yvonne Coombs.
